Melody has recently lost her parents and is living with her previously unknown grandfather in a new town. While exploring, she enters her grandfather’s attic and discovers a portrait of a girl who looks exactly like her, dressed in an elaborate outfit and wearing the same locket Melody received from her parents. She wonders how she is connected to the girl in the painting.
