A ruler of the Demon World grows weary of his position and selects a human named Yoshida as his heir. The demon population reacts with anger upon learning of this choice. Several small demons then cross into the human realm using a magical mirror, seeking to eliminate Yoshida and claim power for themselves. Unaware of his new role, Yoshida relies on his minimal magical abilities to defend himself and his companion, Ageha.
