Yoshioka frequently visits Oosawa's restaurant, often accompanied by a new boyfriend, drawn by the quality of the food. Oosawa, a single parent, dedicates himself to work, leaving little room for friendships or romance. When Oosawa's daughter Chizu becomes ill, Yoshioka offers assistance, prompting Oosawa to reluctantly accept help from someone who appears superficial.
