On the arid world of Opus-9, a planet celebrated across the galaxy as a top vacation spot boasting some of its most luxurious hotels, a robot named J-ko handles cleaning duties at one of these establishments. During her usual rounds, she steps into a guest's room and stumbles upon a scene nobody anticipated: an occupant drenched in blood and clinging to consciousness.
