Himi City is known for its handball culture, drawing schools from across Japan to recruit promising athletes. Hinezumi High, the only public school in the area, has struggled since its Inter High success four years ago. To regain past success, the school enforces a height requirement for club members, believing that taller players bring greater strength. Eito Shiguma, a first-year student who recently moved from Tokyo, wants to join the handball team despite failing to meet the height standard.
