A 23-year-old office worker in 2038, Noshi Hyoda experiences a sense of existential despair. She finds herself inside a vessel named Spaceship EE, adrift in deep space. Questioning her place in a world marked by apathy and oppression, she considers whether the answers to her uncertainties might be found among the stars—or perhaps they are not there at all.
