Spectral Wizard: Saikyou no Mahou wo Meguru Bouken

Men are bound to serve knowledge. A group known as the Sorcerers' Guild once existed, possessing powerful and dangerous spellbooks and practicing magic in its purest form. The guild was labeled a terrorist organization and targeted for destruction. A group of scholar-warriors was established to hunt them down, capturing and killing many of its members. As their numbers dwindled, the guild eventually disbanded. Those who remained were forced into hiding, living as fugitives. One of these fugitives is known as the Spectral Wizard.
