Spectreman

Tokyo, like many major cities on Earth, struggles with severe pollution. Global authorities continue to battle this crisis, but there remains the possibility that land, air, and water could one day become deadly to all life. A figure known as Spectreman is presented as a potential savior. The manga was originally published alongside a tokusatsu TV series in the early 1970s. Some manga chapters were adapted from the show, while others were original. It appeared in three different magazines and was initially released in a seven-volume tankoubon series under three different titles corresponding to changes in the TV series name. Later, it was reprinted in a five-volume edition titled Spectreman.
