Spice to Custard

A girl named Tama has loved her childhood friend Chika for ten years. She first confessed to him at age six and was rejected, but Chika said he might consider it in high school. Now in high school, Tama announces to her friends that she will confess again. Concerned about Chika's cold demeanor and his membership in a kendo club that prohibits relationships, her friends are worried. Tama proceeds with the confession, and Chika refuses. Seeing her heartbreak, he offers to go out with her on the condition that their relationship remains secret. Tama is thrilled but soon realizes keeping the secret may be more difficult than expected. The story includes eight additional chapters.
