This is a prequel to another story, taking place two to three years prior. It centers on Imari, who is in love with a boy aspiring to be a detective. This boy left school to follow someone named Kiyotaka, and Imari may be in a relationship with a murderer without realizing it. The events are linked to the Blade Children, a group that appears later to help, though they are under Kiyotaka's control.
