Star Ocean 2: Second Evolution

A girl named Rena resides in Expel, where she has long held faith in the legend of the Warrior of Light. When the Sorcery Globe crashes onto the planet, she encounters Claude in Shingo Forest, where he rescues her from a monster using a weapon that emits bright light. Though Claude denies being the Warrior of Light, Rena still sees him as significant. Together, they travel to Eluria, the site of the Sorcery Globe's impact, to investigate its effects. Along the journey, they meet others and form new alliances.
