Stellarium

A scientist named Kanata, who has become a workaholic and alcoholic following the death of his former love, is conducting an experiment when he unintentionally creates a boy. Initially attempting to get rid of the boy, who is not human, Kanata is stopped by a friend. A new relationship begins when Kanata gives the boy a name, but he is troubled by the painful realization that the boy's appearance strongly resembles his late lover. The story includes the one-shot "Shinkuu Teien (A Garden in the Void)" and an additional chapter.
