A manga adaptation of Walter Isaacson's biography of Steve Jobs opens in 2004, when Jobs visits Colorado to meet Isaacson and ask him to write his life story. Isaacson considers whether Jobs sees himself in comparison to Franklin and Einstein, subjects of Isaacson's previous works. The author delays the project until receiving a call from Laurene, Jobs' wife, informing him that Jobs has been diagnosed with cancer.
