A talking frog named Strawberry-chan has a complicated relationship with Akiyoshi, who enjoys inflating him with a straw, which upsets the frog. Akiyoshi's friends have varied opinions about Strawberry-chan. Some want him to be treated more kindly, others genuinely care for him, and one person wishes to be Strawberry-chan himself. Amidst these mixed feelings and treatment, the frog's survival is uncertain in the first volume.
