Strider Hiryu

In 2048, Hiryu is a former elite Strider who left his career after being compelled to kill his sister, who had become unstable. He lives in Mongolia when he is called back into service by his ex-boss, Matic, to eliminate his friend Cain, now a captured threat. With assistance from Sheena, Hiryu rescues Cain, but Cain turns on them after waking. Hiryu overpowers him, though Sheena dies from her injuries. Hiryu discovers a device in Cain's neck, revealing he was controlled by a weapon called Zain, the same one that affected his sister. After Cain regains his freedom, he joins Hiryu to stop Zain. They uncover that an organization called the Enterprise is behind Zain, with Matic collaborating with its leader, Faceas Clay. With Cain, Kuramoto, and other Striders, Hiryu defeats Matic and Clay, and destroys the central Zain system.
