Suiheisen no Nella

A girl living in a coastal town with her grandfather meets a young man with blue eyes on the day of a major tide. He says he is looking for a mermaid. Years later, he reappears, unchanged from when they first met. During the next high tide, she is inexplicably pulled into the ocean.
