Tomoya Mitsuhoshi, a second-year university student, is part of the drama club and tasked with writing a love story script. Lacking personal experience in romance, he meets Asuka Fukatsu, an aspiring actor with little skill but striking appearance. Tomoya considers a plan to have Fukatsu act as his lover, believing it could improve Asuka's acting and give him insight into romance. He proposes the idea, to which Asuka responds with a serious expression.
