A girl named Wakaba Himekawa lives a quiet life, aware only of her slower growth compared to others. On the day she experiences her first period, her childhood friend Takaya confesses his feelings for her. Though she has never felt the same way, she feels a mix of happiness and confusion. Just as she is about to respond to his confession, an alarm interrupts them, and a broadcast begins that alters the course of her daily life.
