Sword Art Online: Aincrad

In 2022, a new virtual reality game called Sword Art Online launches, using NerveGear technology to provide a fully immersive experience. Players soon realize they cannot log out, as the game lacks a basic exit function. Stuck in the virtual world of Aincrad, their bodies remain motionless in the real world. Players are told they must complete all one hundred floors of the game to escape. However, if a player dies in the game, they also die in real life.
