In a village known as the "First Village," Ruth, the son of an innkeeper, lives a quiet life. In his past life, he was uninterested in women due to his burly appearance, but now, as a handsome young man, he hopes to change that—though he remains unpopular. He learns that his childhood friend, Alec, is a hero, and unexpectedly, Alec asks Ruth to wait for him. Following this, various notable figures connected to Alec begin arriving in the village, causing disruptions in Ruth's peaceful existence.
