Bayan is rejected by the Siyo, a group known for their healing abilities, because she lacks the power to heal. She is sent to the court of Dhan, a ruler afflicted by a curse that causes him to kill his concubines. Upon arriving at the palace, Bayan appears doomed, and Dhan seems destined to remain trapped in his madness. However, there is potential for Bayan and Dhan to influence and alter each other’s fates.
