An elite institution trains students to become Inquisitors tasked with hunting and neutralizing witches and other dangerous magical users. One such group, the 35th Test Platoon, is led by Kusanagi Takeru, who refuses to abandon traditional sword-based tactics in favor of modern methods. When Otori Ouka, a top marksman known for using excessive force, is transferred to his unit, the platoon must learn to cooperate despite their clashing styles. Whether they can overcome their differences and succeed as a team remains to be seen.
