Taishou Mugen Kitan

A four-part anthology explores supernatural and historical themes through distinct narratives. The first follows Sakuya, a noble girl in the Taisho era haunted by a dream of being strangled by ivy, who seeks help from a Noh dancer connected to the spiritual world, uncovering a complex mystery involving spirits, lost love, and sacrifice. The second centers on Akira Hanawaka, a gifted Noh dancer who interacts with the spiritual realm and confronts his past through a meeting with his younger brother. The third involves a Heian-era exorcist investigating strange occurrences tied to Princess Hashi’s tragic history. The final story is set in a post-apocalyptic future where a biological weapon called Evil One has destroyed civilization, following Agata, a prostitute rescued by a man who seems to know her hidden past.
