Tales of Berseria

A disease called Daemonblight emerged three years ago, transforming people into Daemons and plunging the world into disorder. In a secluded part of the Kingdom, Velvet lived with her family in peace. One night, under a red moon, she was betrayed by Artorius, who had previously saved her. This led to the death of her family and the possession of her left arm by a power capable of consuming demons. As the world gradually regained some stability, Artorius established the Abbey and the Exorcists, earning recognition as a savior. However, Velvet felt only resentment toward him.
