Tanbishugi

A renowned author seeks a sitter with a specific skill in preparing miso soup. A German man develops deep feelings for a Japanese nobleman and becomes his butler, enduring societal disapproval and personal challenges. After his sister's death, a man continues living with his brother-in-law, his affection for the widower intensifying. To escape this emotional entanglement, a writer decides to leave. A salaryman, unsettled by his brother's arrival, begins avoiding him by drinking heavily with coworkers, occasionally collapsing in unfamiliar places. Other brief narratives include a story titled *Koroshiya Drop* and another known as *Shinshokusuru Shi no Gaspard*.
