A 34-year-old unemployed man is asked by his mother to look after her plant shop while she is away. Unfamiliar with plants, he finds the situation complicated when the succulents in the shop gain the ability to speak with him after appealing to a plant fairy. The man is informed that his mother will be out of town for an entire year, making his unexpected responsibility more challenging.
