Kimihiko Kimizuka was a typical high school student, often finding himself caught in various troubles but otherwise unremarkable—until he met Siesta, a detective. Her striking appearance and calm demeanor in dangerous situations captivated him, leading to three years of adventures as her assistant. He saw himself as her Watson to her Sherlock. However, her death marked a turning point. A year later, the story resumes when he encounters a rude, conceited high school girl who feels strangely familiar.
