A 26-year-old woman named Haruka Asu feels unfulfilled despite having a stable career. On her 27th birthday, she encounters a stray kitten that is injured and dirty. Unable to ignore it, she takes the cat to a veterinarian and commits to caring for it until it can be adopted by someone else.
