By the year 3992, a sequence of intense magnetic storms has led to genetic mutations and the complete disappearance of the Y chromosome, resulting in the extinction of the male population. Society has since restructured into a matriarchal system, with children brought into the world through surrogacy. Anzai Y'anto Hime is beginning to reach maturity as the sole surviving male in this new world.
