Ao Amakawa, an orphan studying medicine at Sacred Mountain, is approached by two men who claim he must honor a promise made 150 years earlier by the Emperor. He is told he is the reincarnation of the Prince of Heavenly Fox, a leader of the Nine-Tailed Army in a past conflict. His life changes when he meets nine Heavenly Foxes bound to follow him. A fantasy unfolds as nine swords come into play.
