Two childhood friends from the Warring States era, bound by their loyalty, faced war together until one died in battle. Before parting, they promised to meet again in another life. Centuries later, they are reborn in modern Japan, one as male and the other as female. As they eventually reunite, they must navigate the emotions and challenges that come with their past bond and new identities.
