Juntoku is a priest who took over his family's temple. During a monthly ritual of copying sutras, a man from his past unexpectedly appears—Hasegawa Michi, a former high school classmate who became both a close friend and someone Juntoku loved. Michi, now a charismatic and attractive man, suddenly draws closer to Juntoku, creating tension.
