A string of crimes inspired by fairytales is linked to a killer known as “The Tale,” who orchestrates kidnappings and murders through the use of these stories. Five women have vanished, each receiving a cryptic invitation to a party. An accomplished detective and a lighthearted writer must collaborate despite their contrasting personalities to uncover the truth behind the case.
