THIS MAN: Sono Kao wo Mita Mono ni wa Shi wo
THIS MAN その顔を見た者には死を
A psychologist in New York receives a drawing from a patient in 2006 depicting a man she claims appears in her dreams. Other patients report similar sightings, and the image becomes widely known as "This Man." Years later in Japan, forensic sketch artist Hakaru Amano works with the police in Kumamoto. A woman named Hoshiko asks him to draw a man she saw near her home. His sketch matches This Man. Soon after, Hoshiko sees the man kill her mother and Hakaru's apartment is destroyed by fire. When Hakaru confronts the man, he is warned that seeing him brings death. Evidence suggests the killer has local support, forcing Hakaru and Hoshiko to go into hiding. Despite this, Hakaru decides to pursue and capture This Man and his associates before more attacks occur.
