Agents Emma and Yuliya are stationed at a quiet, rural branch while more severe incidents occur in Tokyo. They handle mundane tasks like cleaning and plumbing for local residents. Folklore emerges wherever people congregate, fueled by myths and fears that manifest in public spaces. A factory owner contacts the agency after strange events unfold, dismissing his workers' concerns as superstition. Emma and Yuliya uncover evidence suggesting a dangerous Folklore presence has taken refuge in the town, and it may soon regain strength.
