Xie You was born under the protection of numerous malevolent spirits, a condition that comes with a heavy cost. According to an ancient agreement, this protection forces him to live as a blind and physically impaired man. To prevent him from becoming completely blind, five families are required to carry out a marriage contract on his behalf. If any of these families fail to do so, Xie You will lose his remaining sight.
