A man named Taeho repeatedly experiences a nightmare in which he and a co-worker nearly fall off a cliff, only for both to plummet into a bottomless pit. In his waking life, Taeho is a disheveled man living in a cramped apartment in the slums and consistently failing job interviews. He receives a cryptic letter instructing him to board a bus on a specific date if he wants to "conquer the world." He attends a blind date arranged by his neighbor, where he meets a woman named Rachel, who appears to be aware of the bus. Upon further investigation, Taeho discovers the bus leads to a training center run by Daesan Pharmaceuticals. The story follows his journey to determine whether he will be accepted into the company and what the phrase "conquer the world" truly means.
