Academy City, known for its scientific advancements and esper research, is a key setting. Kakine seeks information about Accelerator, the top-ranked esper, through Ringo. However, other factions within Academy City, including DA, Kuroyoru Umidori, and the Kihara Family, also show interest in Ringo's abilities.
