A service exists that allows the removal of past events, operated by a professional time traveler named Rex. Though appearing youthful, he is experienced and equipped with tools such as a communication earpiece and other devices to assist in his missions. While he accepts cases for financial gain, he is especially interested in those that may lead him to a "Babylon Item," a magical artifact. His first assignment involves a descendant of Fred Abberline, a detective who failed to solve the Jack the Ripper murders. The Abberline family has since suffered a curse. Rex investigates whether this curse may be linked to a Babylon Item used in the past, traveling back to the time of the Jack the Ripper incidents to uncover the truth and potentially lift the curse.
