A high school student named Inuzuka Shino bears the same name as the legendary Hakkenshi known as "Devotion." This has brought him constant stress throughout his life. Recently, a large hole has appeared in the city, from which creatures called the Blight have emerged. Due to his name, Shino becomes involved in a conflict with these beings.
