Kokoro and his friends experience a sudden shift when their world is overrun by dragons that attack and destroy without mercy. The Japanese military proves ineffective against the creatures. A secretive military unit then emerges, possessing knowledge about the dragons that remains unexplained. Questions arise about the origins and intentions of the dragons, as well as the identity and motives of the unit's leader. Kokoro and his friends must find answers before the situation spirals beyond control.
