Tokyo DTED

Tetsuo Sugihara and Kaede Shiraishi, childhood friends, promised each other they would be together when they entered high school before she moved away. Eight years later, they reunite in high school, but Tetsuo’s hopes are dashed when Kaede begins dating his older brother. Feeling defeated, he declines an offer to attend college with his brother and crush, instead accepting a job from a middle-aged man in Tokyo’s Shimokitazawa district. After graduation, he leaves for a new life, navigating personal growth through various experiences. The story follows Tetsuo as he questions what the future holds, who will be in it, and whether he will find love again.
