Tokyo Jitensha Shoujo

A country girl named Iruka moves to Tokyo to attend high school and live in a dormitory. She is excited to experience city life and become a true Tokyo girl. Her roommate, a local girl, is cold and unapproachable, which Iruka interprets as urban sophistication. Iruka wants to connect with her and others like her. To fit in, she aims to upgrade her rural bicycle to a stylish Tokyo road bike but struggles with the high costs. She ends up joining a club called the "Bike Angels," who assist her in transforming her bike. The story explores whether Iruka can achieve her goal of owning a cool road bike and becoming a fashionable Tokyo girl, as well as whether she can overcome the barriers to friendship with her distant roommate.
