Tonari no Yasawa

Two childhood friends, Kaoru and Toyoko, have maintained a long-standing agreement: the loser of their judo matches treats the winner to a meal. As they enter high school, Kaoru finds it increasingly difficult to keep up with Toyoko, whose skills continue to improve while his own stagnate. After another decisive loss and a mocking comment from Toyoko, Kaoru reaches his breaking point. He challenges her to a final match, making a bold declaration: if he loses, he will buy her meals for the rest of his life. The upcoming bout becomes a high-stakes test of their abilities, with their personal relationship and future hanging in the balance.
