A 15-year-old boy named Junpei dreams of becoming a fisherman and lives in Tosa, where the film highlights the local way of life. After finishing junior high school, he joins a bonito fishing boat. His older girlfriend, Yachiyo, is also part of the story. Created by Yusuke Aoyagi, this drama explores the lives of everyday people in Japan. It received the 25th Shogakukan Manga Award.
