Tou no Kemono

A blind-eyed orphan named Lukka struggles to survive by trying to trade his shoes for food, but is ignored and pushed aside by villagers. He is nearly killed when shoved in front of a carriage, but the accident leads to a meeting with a nobleman named Edgar, who has striking blue eyes. Edgar invites Lukka to live with him, and they form a strong bond, with Lukka becoming a devoted and cheerful servant. Each month, Edgar leaves for three days, leaving Lukka in charge of feeding a black wolf with blue eyes that lives in the estate's tower.
