Akira Kousaka was a lecturer at Tokyo Art University. He had long been fascinated by the Imperial Eggs and dreamed of seeing them in person. During his winter break, he traveled to the Irina Art Museum in Prussia, where the eggs were exhibited. While there, he accidentally set off the alarm system, leading to an unexpected encounter that would drastically alter the course of his life.
