A god-like being has tasked Ed with being expelled from a group of 100 heroes across 100 different worlds to return to his own. After completing this requirement, he is given an additional condition: the opportunity to witness the fates of the worlds he left behind. Upon learning a startling truth, Ed decides to return to all 100 worlds and be banished once more. This time, he is joined by a former companion who promises to accompany him.
