Kerry is recovering from a breakup when friends gift her a trip to New Orleans. Early in her stay, she consults a fortune teller who predicts a romantic adventure. Later that night, she hears strange noises from a neighboring hotel room. A man named Matt appears and claims a woman is unconscious in his room. Kerry enters and discovers the woman is the fortune teller she had just met—and she is dead. Matt introduces himself, and the two begin an unexpected journey.
