A female middle school student named Chiyoko is a member of her school's naginata club. A revolver in her home can transform into a human and was once an assassin for the imperial city's information bureau. Chiyoko discovers the revolver, known as Zerozero Nanashiki, and partners with him to confront Reishiki, a halberd tsukumogami responsible for killing people over several centuries.
